With the widespread use of information technologies(IT),the teaching approaches have dramatically changed,especially for a curriculum like mathematics,which requires adequate abilities of space imagination and logic thinking.Many instructors have improved the teaching effect and knowledge scenario of math by providing the teaching-related materials in forms of video and graphs.Moreover,a wide number of teachers attempt to utilize IT techniques to modify the structure of the classroom.In the era of such a demand,the flipped classroom has clearly become the best alternative.In the teaching model of the flipped classroom,IT have been effectively integrated into every single step of teaching.It has created huge disruptions in the traditional teaching by changing its original organizational structure.This has been considered as a deep integration between IT and the curriculum.Despite the fact that all the mathematical knowledge has composed a giant structured network,every single knowledge node is acutally very independent of each other.Even each knowledge node can be comprised of several inferior nodes.This kind of knowledge structure is very appropriate for performing flipped classroom teaching.Therefore,this paper has surveyed the practice of flipped classroom teaching from various regions,designed the application pattern of the flipped classroom for mathematics,and performed the corresponding teaching experiments based on the previous design.The analysis on the experimental data indicates that: i)With adequate hardware support,the flipped classroom teaching can increase the teaching productivity of mathematics.It not only stimulates students' interest for math by rectifying the common misconception that “math is boring”,but also improves the initial inquiry ability of the students to make them become the master of math learning.The students can feel the power to control the knowledge based on interest-oriented and active learning,which enhances the learning ability for high-level math knowledge.ii)During the whole process of flipped classroom teaching,the interaction between teachers and students are of great significance.It's an important measure for teachers to provide feedbacks on students' response.The original acquirement for knowledge nodes can be corrected,further understood and better remembered,which is also exactly what the traditional teaching lacks.iii)Both teachers and students are favorable to the novel teaching model of the flipped classroom.After continuous enrichment,this teaching model can be quite adaptive in the environment of mathematics classes.
