The Flipped Classroom teaching mode developed rapidly as it came out formally in 2007.Many schools and teachers have using the Flipped Classroom teaching,and have found it effectively improve the teaching effect.However,studies in recent years have found that the development of the Flipped Classroom have been waning.Especially in senior high school mathematics teaching,the teaching effect of the Flipped Classroom does not present the superiority.As a matter of fact,teachers' teaching mechanism and students' autonomous learning ability are the influencing factors for the effect of Flipped Classroom.It is urgent problem to determine the scope of application of Flipped Classroom in senior high school mathematics and seek strategies of improving students' enthusiasm in Flipped Classroom.Thus,this thesis focuses on the Flipped Classroom in senior high school mathematics teaching,aiming to make Flipped Classroom develop better in senior high school mathematics teaching.Based on Bloom's taxonomy of educational objectives,this study provides suggestions for defining the scope of application of the Flipped Classroom and analyzes the applicability of Flipped Classroom in senior high school mathematics teaching with the B textbook of People's Education Press.In addition,combining the ARCS Model proposed by Professor John M Keller with the Flipped Classroom,this study integrates motivational strategies into instructional design and explores the suitable teaching mode of high school mathematics in China aiming to stimulate high school students' mathematics learning motivation.This study redesigns the Flipped Class from the perspective of ARCS Model and carries out the practice in senior high school,taking an applied class of sine and cosine theorem and an activity class of mathematical inquiry as examples.The result shows that the Flipped Classroom with appropriate curriculum content and motivation strategy can enlarge its advantages,and improve students' motivation level.Therefore,the combination of ARCS Model and Flipped Classroom has certain applicable value and is worth popularizing in mathematics teaching in the future.
