Research On The Relationship Between Walk Score Of Urban Community And Quality Of Community Life

Urban community is a relatively independent social community which is composed of a certain number of population and space,and residents have a common emotional attribution and social interests.With the deepening of the new urbanism,people pay more attention to the construction of community walking,and the quality of life of the community put forward higher requirements.Based on the quantitative study of Xi'an urban community walking,to explore the relationship between walk score and the quality of community life,the paper puts forward the Countermeasures of urban community resource allocation with step action oriented,then to achieve the goal of improving the quality of life of community residents.Based on the theory of community resource accessibility and the theory of urban social living space quality,using evaluation index and GIS method to construct the walk score model,this paper analyzes the characteristics of walkability and walk score in Xi'an,which is the traditional unit community,the ordinary commercial housing community and the upscale community.Based on the evaluation results of community facilities quality and walking availability,to explore the correlation between walk score and the quality of community life,and puts forward the strategy of optimizing the allocation of urban community resources in Xi'an,in order to better improve the quality of life of community residents.The study shows that:1.There is a positive correlation between the walk score and the quality of community life,that is,the higher the community walk score,the more can meet the needs of community residents walking demand,the higher the quality of community life accordingly;On the contrary,the lower the community walk score,the lower the quality of community life.2.Building the walk score model from the residents and social-life space quality perspective,the community daily facility is divided into catering,shopping,leisure,education,medical,financial and social communication services in 7 categories,then analyzing and calculating the facility level and the facility weight,using GIS method to get the community walk score evaluation results.3.The level of the traditional system of community walk score is higher,and the area with higher walking is relatively centralized and continuous;The level of the general commercial housing community and the middle and high grade community walk score is low,and the area with higher walking is relatively scattered and poor continuity.4.The higher the level of community walk score,the more the number of community facilities and the higher the coverage of the network,accordingly,the more perfect community services,the quality of community life will be improved;On the contrary,the community service function is relatively insufficient,and the quality of community life will be restricted.5.From the improvement of community walking space structure and recreational environment,the optimization of community wide walking network,the construction of daily facilities in community walking area,the residents' participation in the construction of walking community these four aspects to enhance the level of urban community resource allocation,improve the community's walking and the quality of life of community residents.
