Study On The Correlation Between Participating Community Education And Inhabitants' Quality

Along with our country people living standard enhancement,since people's material needs well satisfied,people are more and more pursuing spirit level.How to satisfy with their spirit needs pay attention to academia and society.One of the fundamental goals of the community education is to enhance the quality of community inhabitant' life,content with the spirit needs of community inhabitant.This paper takes "adult education" as the basic theory,makes "come back to the abundant adult life world,and go into the ample adult spiritual homestead" as the basic creed and logical start point.The questionnaire method and depth interviews were adopted for this study.The questionnaire according as the Measurement Scale of Attitude of Participating Extracurricular Activities(MSAPEA) and the Measurement Scale of quality of life(MSQOL.) to design by myself.There were a total of 400 adult students of three the Community School in Shanghai who were chosen to take the survey,and 300 of the surveys were valid.The data collected were analyzed by Descriptive Statistics,T-test,Two-Way ANOVA and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation.Then 9 adult students were selected based on those whose scores were among the highest from the MSAPEA and the MSQOL,after these adult students were chosen to hold depth interviews.This study aims at displaying the state of community residents' participating in community learning activity and of their subjective quality of life,portraying features of subjective quality of life of the participants,and demonstrating the significant positive correlation between participating in community learning activity and subjective quality of life.The thesis contains six chapters.The first chapter is introduction,describing the origin,background and significance of the research.The rising of community education provides the social foundation,the growth of the community learning activity participants the personnel foundation,and the development of adult education the subject foundation,the important function of community education in harmonious society highlight the significance of the research.The second chapter is the analysis of basic concepts about community education, quality of life and the related concepts,mainly from dictionaries and experts.The third chapter is literature summarization.On the basis of document study of community education and quality of life researches,this section analyses the main achievements and subsistent deficiency of this research field.The fourth chapter is the implementation plan,introducing the whole process of this research in details,such as the research aim,the object of study,the questionnaires,the research methods.The fifth chapter is analyze questionnaires,make up the main parts of the thesis, according to the questionnaire data,I select propriety statistic methods to analyze data, presenting the status in quo of community residents' participating in community learning activity and of their subjective quality of life.The results display the medium positive correlation between participating in community learning activity and subjective quality of life,and that there are five elements of participating attitude in community learning activity(the total contentment,participating motivation, participating efficiency,group motivity,participating resistance) and five elements of subjective quality of life(the physical and mental health,interpersonal harmonious, personal development,the community sense of belonging,positive and negative emotions) exist the significant correlation.The sixth chapter is summarize and consider,In this part,relevant advices are put forward in the light of the problems and conclusions analyzed.In the end,do thinking on following research.
