Interactive teaching is a kind of teaching mode which aims at cultivating students' communicative competence,and it has been widely used in second language teaching.Unlike the traditional mode,the interactive teaching mode takes into consideration students' subjective initiatives,and their learning demands,on which teachers can flexibly design teaching process and interactive teaching forms.Different teaching contents require various forms of interactions in the classroom.Through the eight months Chinese classroom observation in Philippines,the author knows the importance of interactive teaching,which makes the students more active,and have a better learning effect because the class interaction get high participation.But still there are problems in the application,For example each class has only a limited number of interaction forms.All in all,the application of interactive teaching is effective but insufficient and,there is numerous factors that affect the implementation of classroom interaction,that is,factors teachers,students,environment and so on.The present paper tries to explore what factors influence the implementation of classroom interaction in Philippines public high school,such as the linguistic factor and non-linguistic factor of teacher and student,teaching material factor and so on.Tentatively put forward a suggestion to use interactive teaching method effectively.
