With the advancement of our social economy,the standard of people's life has been raising,as well as our national culture.Art is coming into our daily life with a whole new face.Since the Reform and Openness took place,Arts Education has been providing batches of artistic talents for our country for years.While enjoying the achievement of our Arts Education,however,we found that there were still exists many problems and insufficient in it.As the main source of the fine arts education,the high school arts education group is a particularly important part of the whole arts education of China and is now playing an key role of our nation's art development.It is a duty for all the contemporary art educators and the reserve to find a way of keeping up the pace of high school arts education with the time,so that can they provide talents with fine art theory which is both advancing with time and creative for our rapid-developing society.With the conception of adhering and innovation and perfection,based on the investigation on the arts curriculums of two representative middle schools--the ShuangLiu Art middle school and the WuHou high school,this paper put forward a detailed analysis,sorting and comparison.Found of that,a discussion of the problems of the arts curriculums of art middle schools and the art classes of ordinary high schools was taken place and some advices were made.This paper mainly focused on five aspects : the general situation of the art special students;the development of ShuangLiu art middle school and the art classes of WuHou high school in recent years;comparative analysis of the arts curriculums of the two schools;features of the teaching of the two schools;analysis of the achievements and insufficient of the arts education of the two schools.With the investigation on the developments and arts curriculums and current teaching situation of ShuangLiu art middle school and the art classes of WuHou high school,this paper focused on analyzing the current teaching situation,advantages and insufficient of art classes.Carried by the condition of arts curriculums and teaching methods,on the basis of the trait of art middle school and the art classes of ordinary high school,this paper made a research on the differences and homogenization of the curriculums and teaching of the two schools with different natures,and provided some personal advices about the advantages and disadvantages of high school art education for recent years.Conclusions of this paper may be a reference of art education for other art schools or art special classes,in order for them to better make it clear the relationship of "Quality Education" and "Exam-oriented Education" while obeying the call of quality education.
