The Study Of Government Statistical System In Jiuquan

As an important part of the government departments,the statistics department plays an important role in the local economic and social development,providing solid and reliable references for maintaining the middle and high-speed economic development and grasping the equilibrium point between the expected goal of economic and social development and macropolicy.But with the development of economy and society,the government statistical system also can?t adapt to the development of the times gradually.Under the background of the rapid development of the era and socialist market economy,the proposal of solutions and countermeasures based on the Jiuquangovernment statistics system,nature,management and the existing problems is of great theoretical and practical significance togiving full play to the government statistical function and better serving the local economic and social development.On the basis of the comprehensive and clear description of the concept and function of government statistics,this paper conducts further study of the government statistics in Jiuquan through literature research,survey research and archival research method and analyzes the four problems in the current government statistics in Jiuquan: the first is that the statistical grassroots is weak and the statistical tasks don?t match staff power;the second is the support and coordination force in government statistical work is not enough;the third is the statistical information is wasted and the statistical service function can?t be effectively played;the fourth is that the statistical data quality influences the government statisticalcredibility.And then it analyzes the specific reasons for these problems,mainly including unscientific and imperfect statistical management system and method;imperfect statistical legal system and insufficient law enforcement;insufficient statistical workinnovation consciousness in Jiuquan and single work method;the adverse effect of the current performance evaluation system on the government statistical work.To solve these problems,the countermeasuresin this paper include: the first is promoting the government statistical reform,improving the existing management system and method system.The second is to comprehensively promote the statistical legal construction.The third is comprehensively strengthening the self-construction of statistical system and fundamentally solving problems.The analysis and research of the government statistics in Jiuquan is conducive to provide the experience summary in the practice aspect and actual situation in micro level for further improving the statistical system and promoting the government statistical reform,so as to enrich the basic materials and achievements of theoretical research and make a contribution for the theoretical research of Chinese government statistical system.
