A Study On The Credibility Of Local Government Statistics Department

In 2017,the Regulations on the Implementation of the Statistics Law of the People's Republic of China was finally revised.On May 28,Prime minister Li Keqiang specifically signed the State Council Order and announced that the implementation regulations will be implemented on August 1,2017.This is a very memorable event in the course of China's statistical rule of law construction,and it is also a huge support and powerful guarantee for vigorously promoting statistical reform and development.Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,many leading comrades in the Central Committee have made important instructions on various aspects of statistical work on many occasions,and statistical work in the new era has become more and more important.With the Party and the state paying great attention and making continuous efforts,great strides have been made in all aspects of China's statistical work,but problems such as distortion of statistical data,statistical fraud and lack of statistical credibility still exist to varying degrees.There are also many shortcomings in other areas and they need to be constantly improved.Under the background of the promulgation of the "Regulations on the Implementation of the Statistics Law of the People's Republic of China",combined with the development of statistical work in the S district of T city and the problems that need to be solved,the theory of social contract,public product theory,and information asymmetry theory are used to base on the current situation of the credibility of the S district statistical Department of T city.This paper analyzes the current difficulties in the construction of the credibility of local government statistics department,analyzes the reasons,and finally puts forward suggestions to improve the credibility of local government statistics department.Based on the analysis and study of the great significance of the credibility of local government statistics departments,combined with the current research situation at home and abroad,the concept and relevant basic theory of credibility,credibility of local government statistics departments,credibility of local government statistics departments,and credibility of local government statistics departments are elaborated.Take the S district of T city as an example.Through the form of questionnaires and interviews,this paper introduces the progress made in statistical work,the problems that need to be solved urgently and the status quo of statistical credibility in the S district statistical Department of T city,and points out the difficulties faced in the credibility construction of local government statistical departments.Subsequently,in response to the difficulties,the six major reasons for the lack of credibility of local government statistics departments were outlined,including statistical legal systems,methodological systems,institutions,grassroots foundations,and misunderstandings between the media and the public.It further puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions that can effectively enhance the credibility of local government statistical departments,such as strengthening the statistical legal system,strengthening the basic infrastructure of statistics,and strengthening statistical publicity and education.Finally,the conclusion and prospect of the research content are made.
