The Study Of Students From Different Social Strata-from The Point Of View Of The Social Strata

Following the line of Marxist idea as well as the theory of the social strata,this research counts to analyze,on taking the students of the university as study objects,their different social strata.Based on the actual condition of the students,this study then considers the various influences(the influence of family,school,society...)on the development of students.By using the main socialist values and invoking the real barriers in the mobility of the different social strata,this present thesis aims to explore the causes behind.Apart from the introduction of the study,the main body of this thesis is four chapters.In the introduction,on explaining the purpose and scope of the study,we present systematically the previous research in China and abroad on the one hand and the structure of research on the other.The first chapter is a presentation of the theories on the social strata.By referring to the theories of Karl Marx,Max Weber and Emile Durkheim,we can compare the notion of social classes with that of the social strata.Then we present the mobilization of the social strata after the implementation of the policy of reform and openness and the emergence of new social strata at the present time.In the second chapter,we present a global presentation of students from different social strata.The university,a mirror of society,is a microscope for social studies.Thus we draw from surveys as well as field studies that the origin(hometown,family)and the performance of students at university are the two main factors in their future social roles.In the third chapter we discuss the reasons for the formation of social strata in university students and seek to find a strategy for a healthy mobilization of the social strata.The fourth chapter tries to present proposals for the university to slow the stagnation of social strata in students.In university education practice,it is necessary to establish a sense of equality and justice,to balance the students of social strata in everyday life and to create a harmonious environment within the university,and especially,to offer students from the weak social strata the possibility of mobilization towards the upper strata.
