An Empirical Study On Safety Education For Primary School Students

Students' safety is closely related to personal growth,family happiness and social harmony.Thus,how to ensure the safety of pupils and improve the safety accomplishment of them is the urgent tasks of primary education.This thesis mainly adopts the case-study method,describes and analyzes the present situations and problems of safety education of L primary school in Linfen,Shanxi,that is the individual case from the aspects of safety education idea and goal,curriculum and teaching,as well as safety education guarantee.On this basis,according to the policies of national primary and secondary school safety education,with reference to the safety education practice experience of domestic and international,the thesis puts forward some countermeasures to improve the present situation of safety education for schoolchildren.This paper is composed by five parts.The first part is an introduction,which mainly describes the research background,research purpose and research significance,gives a literature review and defines the core concepts of safety,safety accomplishment,school safety education and so on.The second part is the research design and research process,which introduces the research methods,research object,research tools and describes the whole process.The third part basing on a lot of empirical materials,using the comprehensive methods,such as observation,interviews and questionnaires,takes L primary school that located in Linfen,Shanxi province as a sample to systematically describe the present situation,the basic situation of safety education,safety education teaching and the effects.The fourth part is mainly the analysis of the problems on the sample school's safety education.The fifth part is the countermeasures and suggestions,that are mainly aimed at the existing problems in the sample school safety education,from the aspects of safety education curriculumconstruction,curriculum teaching reform and teachers' team construction,and puts forward the improvement countermeasures.
