| In recent years,the safety of college students has received much attention.It remains as a common task for universities and colleges to improve their safety education along with students' safety awareness.However,at present,a sound and sustainable college safety education system has yet to be established.Hence,it is of great importance for colleges and universities to analyze their current situation and put forward countermeasures based on reality,so as to improve safety education management and safety accomplishment,.This study takes S University as an example,and adopts research methods such as case study,literature research,survey,and observation,to investigate its safety education.The author analyzes the safety education system of S University from five perspectives,namely its concept of safety education,the setting of safety education courses,the way of education,the current safety education situation and the effect of campus safety education.The research shows that although S University has made some achievements with regard to raising safety education concept,enriching safety education courses and the way of safety education,enhancing security system and improving students' safety awareness,there are still some shortcomings.The problems mainly involve four aspects: courses setting,security way,security system,and actual effect.With regard to safety education curriculum,backward course setting,unclear teaching objectives,insufficient resources,scattered teaching contents,and inadequate evaluation mechanisms,have stunted the teaching efficiency of S University.In the way of safety education,the way of education is single and lack of effectiveness.In terms of the security system,S University lacks of scientific management,.sufficient qualified teachers,adequate funds.As for the teaching effect,students' safety awareness is still weak.In this regard,the author puts forward the following suggestions,including enriching safety education curriculum,strengthening security management mechanism,improving teachers' quality,and innovating teaching methods as well. |
