Research Of Current College Students' Constitution Consciousness Cultivation In China

The central position of the constitution in our legal system determines the key position of constitutional consciousness in legal consciousness.The Constitutional consciousness contains cognition,emotion and volition of constitutional subject with constitution and constitutional phenomenon.It includes the constitutional subject's mastery of constitutional knowledge and basic principles,the cognition and evaluation of constitutional function and implementation,the profound understanding of the spirit of the constitution,and the volition formed on the basis of it as a criterion to regulate their own behavior,so as to promote and monitor the implementation and perfection of the Constitution.The cultivation of college students' constitutional consciousness means colleges and universities offer certain constitutional ideas,constitutional views and constitutional norms to impose a purposeful,planned and organized influence on college students so that they can form a system of education that conforms to certain social classes.The constitutional consciousness cultivation of college students is the inevitable requirement of comprehensively promoting the strategy of governing the country by law,the inherent requirement of practicing the socialist core values,the necessity to strengthen and reform the ideological and political education in colleges and universities and also the basic requirement of the overall development of college development.Nowadays,there are many problems in the constitutional consciousness of college students in our country.Such as the low level of constitutional cognition of college students,the indifference of constitutional feelings and the lack of firmness of constitutional beliefs and so on.The reasons are as follows: colleges have not paid enough attention to the cultivation of students' constitutional consciousness,the adverse factors of various cultivating environment and the lack of self-education of college students' constitutional consciousness.To solve these problems,colleges and universities must attach great importance to the cultivation of college students' constitutional consciousness,social and family should optimize the cultivation of the environment,which can form the nurturing together,and college students should strengthen the ability of constitutional self – education.
