Teaching students according to their learning ability,is a model of teaching that teachers give different learning tasks to different students according to their learning ability as well as guide them to study and solve learning problems.It's a model of teaching in order to achieve the goal:better can be better,weaker can make progress,every students can learn something.This teaching model emphasizes on self-study and help each other.Self-study refers to studying by themselves acccording to the teacher's instructions,help each other means that students communicate with each other to solve problems after self-study.If there were problems left after self-study and help,teacher would give help.And teacher can give extra tasks to students who can learn faster.At present,this kind of teaching model is promoted in more and more middle schools.We have been promoting this model since 2015,more and more teachers learn to use this new teaching model.This paper takes 5:4 eyes and glasses of the PEP physic textbooks for Grade Eight as an example,to analyze this teaching model from preparation before class,classroom teaching,homework and so on.In order to increase efficiency and to make better use of every classroom activity,teachers must take into full account students' learning abilities and set reasonable tasks on this basis.Compare the situation of mastering knowledge.we can find that this new teaching model is better than the old one.We can intuitively feel the effectiveness of this model with keeping track of the achievement of students in six months.On the one hand,students' grades improve;on the other hand.students become more active,more open-minded,more interested in class with more opportunities to take part in the class.The model also has its' limits,the teacher have to slow down the speed of teaching sometimes considering that students can't finish self-study easily.Abundant self-study and repeated tracking on the homework take up a lot of class time,they influence teaching speed too.Hope that we can make further study to find better ways to teach physics.
