With rapid development of information highway centered high-tech,knowledge is closely linked with various kinds of production factors across time and space.The production,dissemination and application of knowledge operate as key drivers of economic and social progress.With the promotion of knowledge value,education playing a more and more important role in our society.To adapting to the development of knowledge economy era,education must cultivate students' core literacy which meet the demands of personal,social,times development.Normal education is essential to implement the core literacy,under such circumstances,core literacy has been a hot research topic at home and abroad.Physics is a basic course of natural sciences.Research on physical core literacy is significant for student's scientific understanding and core literacy.This paper,learning from the research both domestic and overseas,gives the relatively detailed explanation of physical core literacy.Then,we lay stress on primarily discuss the strategy of cultivating students' core literacy in physical teaching.The thesis attempts to organize its basic principle and method,and analyses on how to carry out the physical core literacy through a teaching case.This thesis contains the following four aspects:The first part is the introduction.From the viewpoints of economy transition,we expound the necessity and importance of the research physical core literacy.Then some main studies and progress in this field are reviewed and the main contents and methods of this study has been illustrated on the basis of consulting literature and data.Chapter 2 defines the concepts of literacy,core literacy and scientific literacy based on some education theory and the relevant research in the field.Then,a thorough discuss has been made in respect of some concepts of physical core literacy,such as scientific thinking,scientific attitude,and so on,according to the ordinary physics course standard and text book of high school.In third part of the paper,a questionnaire survey,referenced some magisterial surveys,has been made to investigate the physical core literacy status of different level students,and to prepare for discussing the strategy of cultivating students' physical core literacy.The contents of the survey included physical concept,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry,and scientific attitude.Finally,on the basis of the results,we attempt to organize the basic principle and method of cultivating student's physical core literacy,in the combination with student's cognition and emotion,and the essence,characteristics,value of physics.Exemplifying the teaching unit of curvilinear motion and law of universal gravitation,we design the teaching unit plan.Then,in the teaching of projectile motion,we can actually implement the core literacy in the physical classroom of high school.
