Today,China has entered an aging society and the development is very fast.During the 30 years of 2020 to 2050,the amount of world's elderly population will be doubled on the basis of 1 billion.The amount of world's elderly population will grow by an average of 2.38%,more than the average population growth rate.Aging problem does plague the entire international community,but challenges and opportunities coexist.The development of the world economy and the progress of science and technology have provided new development opportunities for solving the problem of aging.To strengthen the population of mental health knowledge in the elderly,to provent the psychological and behavioral problems of the elderly,has become a very important and urgent task.College retired teachers are a special population in the elderly population,their mental health status can not be ignored.The study is based on universities to integrate the various resources within the university and community which is relied on its university.Through the mental health intervention of college retired teachers,the educational activities are aimed at maintaining and promoting the mental health of college retired teachers and improving the happiness of their later life.First,the study is based on the theory of social support.Through investigation and interviews about the mental health status of college retired teachers and their awareness and needs on mental health,the study is aimed at understanding the objective mental health status of college retired teachers.Second,the study analyzes the causes of mental health status of college retired teachers from two aspects,including internal psychological factors and external relational factors.At last,on this basis from the perspective of mental education,the study explores the strategies about improving meantal health of college retired teachers.In today's rapid development of China's aging society,in order to improve the mental health of college retired teachers,it is neccessary to build a nice mental health atmosphere of college retired teachers and to make it a role for universities and communities in mental educational activities,while integrating the resources of the elderly in universities and communities is also important.On the one hand,in order to popularize college retired teachers'awareness of their own mental needs,it is a way to increase the emphasis on the mental health of college retired teachers.On the other hand,we should increase the investment in service of mental health educational activities of college retired teachers in universities and communities.Meanwhile,in order to maintance and promote the mental health level of college retired teachers,we should often organize a variety of psychological activities and services to maintain the enthusiasm of college retired teachers in participating in all activities.
