In order to promote patriotism education,the Central Propaganda Department,the Central Organization Department,the Communist Youth League Central Committee and other 11 departments jointly organized the “Double Hundred” People selection activities in the People’s Republic of China on the occasion of the 60 th anniversary.It makes us know that heroic spirit of the model who throw the head and sprinkle the blood for the motherland in the Chinese revolution,construction,reform on the road,it is a magnificent chapter of the heroic deeds and spirit.The minority hero model of the “Double Hundred” People are the backbone of the nation,the pioneer of the times,so giving full play to the role model of heroic model,in-depth excavation of heroes model education value,and guiding the masses to establish the correct mainstream values,for the formation of good social demonstration effect has certain practical significance.Firstly,this article introduced the origin and selection of the“Double Hundred”People and the minority hero model of the“Double Hundred”People,and digging out the minority hero model in the patriotic love party,diligent,selfless dedication,and the courage to innovate and other aspects of the characteristics of example though the typical cases.Secondly,it further analysized the incentive effect of the ideals and beliefs of the minority model,the social demonstration effect of the Chinese national culture identity,the infection effect of the patriotic love party and the calling and driving effect of the national unity.Then,it put forward contemporary value of the minority hero model of the“Double Hundred”People from individual level and social level.Finally,it took the North Minzu University as a observation point,through the form of questionnaire survey and interview,and author analysized the current situation of the cognition and identity of the students about the“Double Hundred”People,and tried to further explore the minority hero model of the“Double Hundred”People’s educational value in colleges and universities to enrich and improve the minority model of education.
