In China, Model Educaiton is one of the most common and effective methods of ideological andpolitical education since it embodies a strong sense of persuasion and Charisma. Considering the uniquefunction and everlasting vitality of Model Education,“Double Hundred” People were chosen throughpublic appraisal in2009, which enormously demonstrated that Model Education was valued and advocatedin nowadays China. This dissertation will focus on investigating and analysis the influence of “DoubleHundred” people on nowadays model education in China. in detail, it mainly involves the following foursections:The first section provides conceptual analysis concerning “Double Hundred” People and ModelEducaiton respectively. It explores the whole selection procedure of “Double Hundred” People and definesthe so-called Model and Model Education. Combined with “Double Hundred” People, the form,characteristics and function of Model Education in present China are discussed in this section as well.The second section analyses the history evolution of Model Educaiton in China through “DoubleHundred” People. According to the characteristics of Model Education within different historical stages, thedevelopment of Model Education can be divided into five periods, namely, period of embryo, period ofgreat prosperity, period of deformity, period of rehabilitation and period of booming. Overview history, thedevelopment of Model Education is never smoothly and easily. The models came into being from differentperiods exactly reflect the Model Education of that time.The third section, combined with “Double Hundred” People, analysed the specific condition of ModelEducation in nowadays China and several issues facing us. Furthermore, it puts forward the reasons which leads the existing problems from the perspectives of Model Promotion, Model Learning, Model Origin,Model Image, Model Value and Model Group.The fourth section, based on “Double Hundred” People, new construction of Model Education inChina is suggested. Additionally, construction principles of “Real, Kind, Beautiful” and “Time, Space,Run” are put forward and the approaches used to construct are discussed. Last but not least, it explores thediversity of human, creativity spirit, mutual relationship of people as well as pursuit of happiness.
