Study On The Living Situation Of Chengdu Urban Residential Space Structure Evolution

Urban living space is not only a tangible physical space but also an social space,the most basic urban system unit and, an important carrier of residential culture. The rationality of its structure is not only related to the quality of the life of the public, but also related to the spread of the urban culture's features. Space provides the container for the cultural formation, one cannot talk about the culture without involving the space,and the essence of culture is the living life scene in the space. In the thousands-of-year evolution of Chengdu, there has been many exciting scenes,including not only those living entities, street space and physical environment, but also the social environment, economic life scenes and the main character of the humanities of life existing in the city container. All these scenes together form the city's unique cultural characteristics. So how to highlight cultural characteristics of the living scenes from the urban planning prospective, shape living space and living scenarios with the characteristics of the Chengdu city is hence a very important question.This paper explores the different periods of Chengdu city residential structure and living scene based on the historical data. The time axis of the paper is divided into three periods, including Qin dynasty to the early Qing dynasty, the late Qing dynasty to and the People's Republic, after the founding up to now. Using the literature research method and analysis method with CAD, Photoshop and other drawing tools,I presented Chengdu urban living space structure of different periods. Living scene in different periods and the spatial structure was discussed from the aspects of residential morphology, physical environment, business situation, live entertainment, social atmosphere. Living scenarios in different historical periods were compared by means of comparison analysis. The cultural connotations, the fracture of living scenarios and the continuation, reflected from residential scene of different historical period and the city residential space structure, were summarized. These researches infer the inheritance path of the residential culture. Starting from the point, the line and the plane prospective of space, combining with the theory of urban planning and design from the field,river,street,building several aspects, I proposed some suggestions to highlight some remarkable historical topographies in the past living scenes and to inherit cultural connotation. However, the Scenario profile inherited from Chengdu has not been confined to materialization from a long time ago, and it is also embodied in the attitude of life and the style of life in Chengdu. Therefore, the guidance of the ideology of the living subject and the urban spirit atmosphere are important.According to the shaping of the spirit of the city put forward education, network resources, media and other measures.This paper explores the living culture from the perspective of the living scene in the field of space, which is a new thinking on the future optimization of urban space and the inheritance of Chengdu. Combining the urban spatial vision, urban planning and design, the discussion about how to highlight the remarkable scene of the past,to inherit the cultural characteristics of the scene, and to achieve the spread of urban cultural features, provides significant guidance for the formation of the living space and the living situation with Chengdu's features.
