Since 2000, with the improvement of urban living standards, China’s urban living space is undergoing dramatic changes:First, with the acceleration of urbanization process forward, expanding cities, a substantial expansion of urban space.Second the cities, especially large and mega urban cities(based on 2014 State Council issued "Urban Scale Division Standard Adjustment Programs", six mega cities as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen) function much more integrated into the development, the formation of a different geographical features, functions and interactions among different, and thus have an impact on urban residential space; Third, with the reform of living system reform, increasing of household income,urban residents’ choice of living space more market-oriented and personalized.Wuhan city in central region as well as a large nationwide urbanization, in this period was also significantly accelerated urban spatial structure has undergone great changes, living space has a more significant differentiation of class, residential segregation and concentration, work and live isolated, marginalized and vulnerable groups of blind expansion and other phenomena, but there is little research in this area, and more for the study of urban-related problems have been involved. Meanwhile, the Wuhan city space is divided by Yangtze River and Hanjiang River into Hankou, Hanyang, Wuchang three large parts, its special natural and geographical environment for the living space of the city marked a deep imprint area, its structure Evolution and spatial variation is unique, and the current research in this area even more weak.
