Chemistry is originally an experimental natural science. Large quantities of researches are to be carried out in experiments, even if the current theory has been improved, the relevant assumptions still need to be tested in experiments. It is an important task to cultivate students' experimental basic knowledge and skills in middle school.According to the literature and the actual work, it has been discovered that the current situation of the middle school chemistry experiment course is not ideal. The main reason is that the efficiency of the course is low, the students can't master the relevant knowledge very well through the experiment, and thus teachers don't have enough enthusiasm to arrange experimental courses. Consequently, the main target of the current studies is to improve the efficiency of experimental teaching and learning.Developing from the original stage of traditional teaching to the computer-aided teaching and then to the distance learning, digital learning and mobile learning, people's education channels are increasingly diversified and convenient, enjoying equal educational resources, among which mobile learning is now the most popular and potential approach of learning. Although the concept of mobile learning was put forward as early as the end of the last century, it was still limited in the stage of experimental study due to the poor equipment. However, with the soaring development of Mobile Terminal in recent years, a substantial increase in information processing capabilities, and the improvement of software systems as well as the wide popularization of equipment, mobile learning has accordingly been provided with a software and hardware basis.In term of the literature review, it is known that the current researches on mobile learning are increasing year by year, but mainly concentrate in the university stage and theoretical level. On the basis of mobile learning, the research is designed to explore the effectiveness of Mobile Terminal in facilitating senior chemistry experimental teaching through action research approach and investigation approach. The research is developed on chronological order of students' learning. Before the experimental course, they are required to preview the resources provided by the teacher through their Mobile Terminal to know the purpose and the content of the experiment. During the experimental class, the students are to record the process and phenomena by recording video and taking photos with their Mobile Terminals. After the experiment course, the students watch the video and photos made by themselves to conclude and introspect. The students are consumers of mobile learning resources before experiment course, but producers of resources in the experimental course. Their main learning model is utilizing their own and their peers' video and photos, enlarging their learning methods.According to Bandera's sociological theory, Repeatedly observing the experimental process of themselves and their peers through video can effectively extend the time of experimental course, which contributes not only to students' memorizing experimental instruments and phenomena, but also to discovering their own problems in experiment,looking deeply into the principles of experiment, and then constructing the experimental knowledge hierarchy independently, as well as enhancing the experimental skills. In the course of the experiment, students need to record video or take photos with the peers cooperatively, and learn in cooperation before and after class, which is beneficial to the cultivation of students' teamwork spirit and the improvement of learning quality. Through the questionnaire, we can see that most of the students are interested and hopeful in the experiment, thinking that the teaching mode of using Mobile Terminal in the experiment can truly help them master the experiment more effectively. Simultaneously, there are still a number of issues to be explored further.
