Research On The Intervention Of The Group Sandplay Therapy For Colloge Students With Subthreshould Depression

Subthreshold depression is a clinical manifestations and mental state which is between normal people and depression patients and has a part of the symptoms of depression,but cannot completely meet the relevant diagnostic criteria for depression.There are three parts in the study:This study selects the subjects according to the center for epidemiologic studies depression scale and the fourth edition of the diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders.Thirty colloge students are selected to be the subjects,and ten of them are normal students and twenty of them are ones with subthreshold depression.They are divided into four groups,which are the first experimental group,the second experimental,the normal group and the control group..The first experimental group will receive the group sandplay therapy with a theme,The second experimental group will receive the group sandplay therapy without a theme,and the control group will not receive any therapy.The study is divided into three parts:(1)The initial sandplay production from the experimental group and the normal group will be compared and the characteristics of the initial sandpaly production from the experimental group will be summarized.(2)The experimental group will be intervened by group sandplay therapy and the effectiveness of the therapy will be explored.(3)If the group sandplay has a good therapeutic effect on the college student with subthreshold depression,the study will explore whether the theme of the group therapy influence the effectiveness of the therapy or not.Conclusions are as follows:(1)The college students with subthreshold depression and the normal students have great differences in the use of toys,the theme features and the scene features of sandplay production.but there is no difference in the scenario,the use of the sand ,the self-portrait and the time of making of sandplay production.(2)The group sandplay therapy has a good therapeutic effect on the college students with subthreshold depression and helps them relax their depression.(3)The theme of group sandplay therapy has no influence on the therapeutic effect for the college students with subthreshold depression.
