Investigation And Research On The Design Of Mathematical Exercises In Rural Junior Middle School

As the supplement and continuation of classroom teaching,Math exercises are not only the carrier of mathematical knowledge,but also the foothold of the mathematical thinking and method.Excellent math exercises' design can benefit students a lot.They can help students better acquire mathematical knowledge,develop their mathematical thought and improve the training in mathematical skills.Besides,good exercises' design can motivate students' interest in learning mathematics,So learning skilled ability in designing mathematics exercises is very important for teachers.In order to know more about the current status of mathematical exercises' design in rural middle schools,I conducted my own researches.First,based on the subject math itself and targeted on the rural middle school students in Qimen,Huangshan,I took advantage of my own adapted students' questionnaire to do my survey from the perspectives of students' interests in math exercises,the time students took to finish the exercises,different math exercises' forms and the amount of it and so on..Second,on the basis of references,I listed my own outlines to interview the math teachers in the school in deep,trying to find out the potential reasons for the status quo in math exercises' design.Finally,through the statistical analysis for the both survey and the interview results,I put forward some suggestions for improving the mathematics exercises' design in rural middle schools : enriching the form of exercises;assigning proper exercises;designing different level of exercises;setting up the true concept of exercises;enhancing the effectiveness of modifying exercises.
