The idea of sustainable development is one of the fundamental ways to solve the contradiction between human and the natural environment ,education is an important way to carry out the idea of sustainable development and permeate the idea of sustainable development.China is a country with a population of 1.3million, to ensure the implementation of sustainable development strategy,we must start from basic education and implement sustainable development education in primary and secondary schools.Compared with other subjects in high school,the content of sustainable development in geography is the most abundant, senior high school students' thought has developed to a mature stage, they have a strong understanding of theoretical knowledge and ideas of sustainable development, so it is of great significance to penetrate the concept of sustainable development in high school geography education.The main contents of this paper include the following aspects: First, the concept of sustainable development permeated in high school geography education. On the basis of previous studies, this paper summarizes the concept of sustainable development permeated in high school geography education from the four aspects of curriculum standards, teaching materials, experimental activities and teachers by literature research method. Secondly, through the questionnaire survey and teachers' interview, to understand the current concept of sustainable development in high school geography education and found out the problems existing in the current situation of school, teachers and students in the high school geography education; thirdly,the high schools don't attach importance to the education of high school geography sustainable development,teachers' awareness of infiltrating the concept of sustainable development is not strong,students' concept and behavior of sustainable development are poor,etc,to deal with these problems,the author puts forward the optimization strategies of school level,teacher level and student level, and the author designs class and extracurricular teaching cases according to the proposed optimization strategy.Penetrating the concept of sustainable development in high school geography education is in line with the current situation of our country, and it is also the need of the new curriculum reform.The penetration of the concept of sustainable development in high school geography education is beneficial to the development of students' knowledge of sustainable development, the cultivation of the concept of sustainable development and the improvement of the practical ability of sustainable development.In the future, the sustainable development of this system will gradually improve, China's high school geography education will continue to develop, there is more space for the topic's research of penetration of the concept of sustainable development in high school geography education.
