This paper focuses on independent Chinese teaching site "Pia Bratianu" NO.17 school of Bucharest in Romania.The author aims to explore the operating mode of this teaching site and current situation under the influence of the operating mode.Corresponding suggestions for the development of this teaching site are also given.The paper provides reliable examples on teaching Chinese to foreign students and it is regarded as a necessary reference to the development of other independent Chinese teaching sites all around the world.This study used qualitative case-studying method.The integrated institution is the main unit of analysis and the volunteer Chinese teacher,students studying Chinese," Pia Bratianu " NO.17 School and the external environment are four secondary units.Through interview,observation,collections of documents and materials the author accumulated enough information which had been dealt with constructing categories,analyzing scenarios and creating memos.Result of the study shows in case-studying report.The results are that the operating mode of this teaching site consists of core,internal and external regions.All participants in different regions which influence the teaching site deeply play essential roles and contact each other constantly.The teaching site displays some features in teaching and management aspects which are related to all the participants.This research is of great significance in investigating independent Chinese teaching sites(especially teaching sites established in overseas primary and secondary schools)and it helps people to know the current situation of Chinese teaching in Romania.
