| In the 21 st century,information technology develops rapidly,making television,computers and mobile phones everywhere in life,which provides teachers and students great convenience to make full use of the film and television resources.The descriptions of "focusing on the exploration of geographical problems" and "pay more attention to the application of information technology in geography curriculum" in theNew Curriculum Standard forHigh School Geography highlight the importance of cultivating students’ thinking ability and the application of information technology in geography teaching.Making full use of film and television resources in geography class will meet the requirements of New Curriculum Standard forHigh School Geographywhile enriching the teaching progress of this subject.In recent years,the utilization of film and television resources in educational industry has been more and more compelling.Obviously,all the benefits that the film and television resourcescandevelop students’ abstract thinking ability in geography,which is also one of the reasons why teachersareexpected to apply video resources to their teaching.Based on the analysis of literature research,questionnaire and data,this paper analyzes the teachers’ and students’ understanding and teaching effects of the application of video resources in geography class in Gushi NO.1 Senior High School.This paper summarize the existing problems in this field and puts forward the principles of video resources application,hoping to provide theoretical reference for future geography teaching.Conclusions are as follows: first of all,from the student’s questionnaires we find thatstudents concentrated more on entertainment rather than geographical knowledge when watching films and videos,but students do not exclude acquiring geography information through video resources,.Second,the film and television resources implicit in the film and television culture can not be a profound understanding of students,which requires teachers to conduct clever guidance,so that students could fully understand the value of film and television resources.What’s more,frequency of application of geographical film and television resources in class is not high,but teachers do have a strong desire to enhance theapplication of video resources in their class,indicating that in high school geography teaching application of film and television resources has a high feasibility.In the survey,students found that the application of film and television resources in the geography classroom makes the classroom atmosphere relaxed and pleasant,which can stimulate their interest in learning geography,deepen their understanding and memory of geographical knowledge,and further understand the global environment and development issues.Finally,the application of film and television resources in high school geography teaching still has some problems.However,with the gradual improvement of film and television teaching theory,the accumulation of application experience and the enrichment of teaching cases,the application of film and television resources in high school geography teaching will be further understood in the future.With the requirements of High School Geography Curriculum Standards gradually implemented,the film and television resources will make greater contributions to the development of this subject.The innovation of this paper is the combination of film and television resources in geography teaching based on the advantages of film and television resources,and put forward the corresponding application principles of film and television resources application in the geographical classroom,which not only helps draw the advantages of film and television resources,but also providenew teaching methods.Based on the application principles that have been put forward in this paper,some geography teaching design of film and television resources arealso developed as parts of the supplements to theoretical studies. |
