As the first population development province of China,Henan Province is trying not only to complete the rising of the Central Plains,Henan revitalization, enriching the province, but also to promote urbanization, and always adhere to people's urbanization as the core of this correct direction the new urbanization,.Therefore, the urbanization of scientific evaluation is the important corner-stone to cope with the risk challenges of urbanization,to make effective relevant policies,to promote better development of new urbanization. This paper constructs the index system from the perspective of daily household income and expenditure of urban / rural population, and uses the entropy method to measure the urbanization quality of urban population in Henan province, the temporal-spatial evolution characteristics of the urbanization quality of the urban / rural population are analyzed by the perspectives of the Tyler index, the natural break point method, the hot and cold spot analysis with rendering and the trend surface analysis. The factors influencing of the urbanization quality of 18 provinces in Henan province are evaluated by principal component factor analysis, time series analysis and cross-sectional data analysis, the main conclusions are as follows:(1)From the perspective of spatial differences, the spatial characteristics of population urbanization in Henan Province changes from 2005 to 2014,the overall pattern of evolution is from southeast low to northwest high, the number of middle and high quality areas is increasing, which is mainly distributed in the middle, west and north. The number of low and lower quality areas is decreasinggradually, which is mainly distributed in the east and south. The quality of urban population pattern of evolution is from west high to east low,the number of high and high quality areas is relatively stable, the number of medium and low quality areas is relatively reduced and the number of low quality areas is increased; The quality of the rural population showed a high pattern of the northwest and the low southeast, the volatility of the high quality area, the middle quality area and the lower quality area is reduced, and the number of the high quality area and the quantity of the low quality area are obviously increased. From the spatial evolution of the provincial cities / rural population of urbanization quality of G index point, the hot and cold spots in Henan Province are relatively large from 2005 to 2014,and the hot spots are mainly moving to the west, the cold spots moving mainly to the southeast and north. The hot and cold spots in the rural areas are also large, and the hot spots are mainly moving to the north and central regions. The cold spots are mainly expanding to the west, the total amount of hot spots is decreasing sharply, and the range of cold spots is increasing rapidly. From the macroscopic trend characteristics of population urbanization quality of urban / rural in Henan province,in the spatial distribution, urban / rural population urbanization quality spatial differences are constantly widening in the east-west and north-south.(2)Though the multiple linear stepwise regression analysis,it is found that the proportion of the secondary industry, the proportion of the tertiary industry and the proportion of the tertiary industry practitioners have great influence on the population urbanization in Henan Province. At the same time, using principal component factor analysis and cross-sectional data analysis,it is found that both the traditional factors and the new factors have different degrees effects on the population urbanization quality of the provinces in Henan province.
