With the incidence of autism being on the rise, the Autism group is getting bigger.Social Skills barrier is recognized as one of the core deficit of children with Autism which causes a profound impact on their emotional and cognitive and social relations.Pivotal Response Treatment as an effective evidence-based intervention,it can improve the social skills of children with autism significantly. This experiment uses Multiple Baseline Across-Behavior designs to study the social skills of two children with autism. The argument is Pivotal Response Treatment and the dependent variable is three target behaviors of the subjects: Common attention,Initiative help and Take turns to wait. This experiment has gone through three stages: baseline phase, intervention phase and maintenance phase.Visual analysis and C statistical analysis of the experimental data were conducted before and after the intervention. This experiment finds:(1)PRT has the effect of timely effect and maintenance effect in improving Common attention and Initiative help.(2)PRT has a differentiated effect in improving Take turns to wait.It has the effect of timely effect and maintenance effect in Subject B’ behavior of Take turns to wait. But to subject A,the effect is not obvious even if he has learned take turns to wait.(3)PRT intervention effect has a good social validity.(4)PRT plays a positive role in promoting other aspects of social skills except for three target behaviors.
