The Assistance And Social Work Intervention For De Facto Orphans

With the rapid development of the economy,more and more attention has been paid to the social security of children.Children welfare system has been in the process of the improvement.A trial of the moderate Pratt & Whitney type system covers de facto orphans.It refers to the orphans children in the family with one or both parents still alive,but they are not able to raise them,as a result of one of the parents who is compulsory under treatment,or who is serving a sentence,suffering from mental illness,severe disability or losing labor ability completely,and another one of the members who is missing,or abandoned the children.This is a special kind of vulnerable groups who live an orphan life,but they can not enjoy the orphans treatment.They can only apply for the basic subsistence allowances.De facto orphans live in poverty,with poor education,health care and other outstanding issues.They are in badly need of national and social attention.I got to know the fact about the orphan rescue policy,professional research methods of social work through collecting and analyzing the relevant literature.I also did researches on the de facto orphans.This paper aims to explore the objective and effective model of help through the case study of the actual demands of orphans,in order to find the deficiencies during the aid process and to develop the effect of the social work in the assistance for the de facto orphans.
