The Research Of Floating Children’s Education And The Community Development Of Floating Population

With the increasingly rapid growth of the market economy and the acceleration of urbanization,the population of the migrant workers has risen significantly for the past few decades and therefore their next generation,i.e.,so-called migrant children follow them to move to the city.The consequence of this movement has become the focus of academic and social concerns.In fact,migrant children will play a crucial role in the future development of the city,and thus the citizenization is inevitable course of this transformation.In this prceess,we need to analyze many problems that migrant children are facing and are about to face,as well as understand their difficulties in their lives and education in order to fix these issues,e.g.,their adaptability to urban life and the sense of belonging to the city.The issues in the education are the mainly problems.However,we aim to find ways to improve their social adaptability,and build a healthy,happy environment for their growth.On the other hand,with the accelerating process of urbanization,H City,A province,is showing an upward trend in the floating population also.The same can be said of the whole country,that is,more and more farmers are choosing to work in the cities.Contrary to urban residents,floating population mainly refers to migrant workers and businessmen,and most of them are the surplus rural labor.Floating population not only has promoted economic and social development,and created wealth,but also become an important part of the urbanization.However,we are rarely concerned about the living conditions and living needs of this group.The social welfare for them is not well-developed,so we can see the gap between them and the local residents as to life quality.In H City,there are some programs in the education of migrant children education and their community aiming to carrying out.Specially,the program,based in a small activity room locating in Nakamura X Village,includes providing the physical and mental support and assistance for migrant children,the access to career support,dissemination of legal knowledge,establishing free library promotion,organizing women or family-oriented activities,promoting elementary school system and the community information network;setting up community legal clinics to establish rights awareness and improve the legal defense of the community;By setting up meetings and interviews,the program will encourage residents to participate in community public affairs and hence contributes to the resolution of the problem.Carrying out A province’s public services,sharing service experience;community public health and community services continue to radiate to the surrounding of the wo floating population Gathering area.During the internship of this program,the writer use interviews,field visits,questionnaires and so on to collect relevant information and data to study the current status of the migrant children and floating population.The writer has learned that these groups do need the support from our government and the society,which is a valuable suggestion and idea for the analysis of the development of education for the migrant children and migrant worker community.
