The cultivation of college students’ practical ability is an important part of college personnel training.Practice is also an important carrier of ideological and political education of college students.At present,part-time job has become a popular practice activity for college students,and it also has become a part of college students’ life.Through part-time jobs,on the one hand,college students can enrich their social experience,get labor remuneration,reduce economic pressure.On the other hand,part-time job can also promote the improvement of college students’ practical ability,and also play a positive role in promoting the ideological and political education in colleges and universities.This study makes a research on college students’ part-time job and through social practice conducts ideological and political education.Through organic combine college students’ part-time work with the ideological and political education,it enables college students receive education during part-time job.Through reasonable guidance of the practice,college students can understand the society,understand the situation of country,increase ability,exercise ability,cultivate character,So as to continuously strengthen and improve their comprehensive quality,enhance the practical ability of college students.This study attempts to look part-time job as the starting point,and it explores contemporary college students’ part-time job and practical ability and the possible relationship between them.By adopting the combination of quantitative research and qualitative research methods,with the use of statistical software such as SPSS19.0,this study conducts frequency analysis,factor analysis,correlation analysis and other specific statistical analysis,and it combines interview method,observation method to explore in-depth the influence of part-time work on practical ability.Finally,through the analysis,it is found that part-time job experience,the type of part-time job and part-time job motivation have a positive impact on the improvement of college students’ practical ability.Setting up correct values,taking part in part-time jobs rationally and engaging in part-time jobs related to major will be more helpful to improve college students’ practical ability.The factors such as social environment tends to be complicated,it is difficult to realize the colleges’ and universities’ responsibility of educating people,and differentiation of college students’ personal ability are the factors influencing the cultivation of college students’ practical ability.In the practice of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,part-time job education and management of college students can be regarded as an opportunity.Carrying out practical education through part-time job can not only combine theory with practice,improve the effectiveness of education,but also provide better guidance for part-time activities,let the students get better training,establish the correct values,participate in part-time job reasonably,and improve the practical ability of college students.
