The Investigative Research About The Influence Of The College Students' Part-time Job On Their Social Capital

Many scholars discussed the situation of college students' part-time job or the state of social capital as well as scholars from the perspective of social capital, discussed its role in employment and its mechanisms.Such studies are also a considerable part of the study of college students,but college graduates in general are to investigate the social capital of their employment.From the previous studies we can see that the social capital of the employment situation of university students will have a major impact,but the professional experience of university students on their state of social capital accumulation of the impact of a relatively small study.In this study,part-time job college students in the investigation to its positive role in the accumulation of social capital on the basis of the discussion,on the one hand, part-time job students on the accumulation of social capital might have adverse impacts,on the other hand,the discussion of different types of part-time community college students the different effects of capital accumulation.In this way,the results of this study can guide the students how to eliminate or avoid part-time may be the accumulation of social capital to its negative impact,but also can guide the students to choose to enhance the role of social capital accumulated significantly more part-time jobs.Thus,the results are expected to play guiding students to enhance the positive role of social accumulation.This study is divided into descriptive and interpretative study of two major studies aimed at part-time college students with the real situation of social capital on the basis of the effect of social capital to find part-time status of the relevant variables,and tap the potential mechanism behind the scenes.In specific data collection methods available in the literature of this study was based on the main use of a questionnaire survey and interview data collection method. Interview context,the initial stage of the study from Chongqing University of Science and Technology and Chongqing Technology and Business University has selected 9 part-time job students,for a total of 18 students selected(No.IS01 to IS18) interviews.Through interviews of students of all part-time status of colleges and universities has a preliminary understanding,but also as a reference for one of the design of the questionnaire.Research on the latter,from the respective colleges and universities has chosen more than five students,a total of 10 students selected(No. IS19 to IS28) conducted interviews,the survey found that the issue of further exploration.In addition,we contact friends or part-time students,Guanyinqiao store of Carrefour,Holiday Inn has a long,English weekly three units of college students part-time employment-related charge of 6 staff(IM1 numbered to IM6) to conduct the interviews,from employing units Perspective analysis of college students have part-time help.In the sampling method,the present study used a stratified cluster sampling method.In the stratified,the study subjects,taking into account the nature of(liberal arts or science),education(undergraduate or specialist),grade and other factors may have a significant impact on the outcome,so this study was based on the above variables,two schools in all extraction 14 classes,for a total of 28 classes(for example, as shown in Table 3-1),according to the number of classes of students to each class a certain number of questionnaires issued.The total of 980 questionnaires was sent to recover the 883 copies of questionnaires,of which 790 copies of valid questionnaires,the questionnaire was 80.6%effective rate.In the analysis,the empirical analysis is an important part of doing quantitative analysis of data.This study to be used Statistical Package for Social Sciences SPSS16.0,to the specific frequency of the use of methods of analysis(Frequency Analysis),for a description of the total sample analysis;regression analysis (Regression Analysis),used to clarify the interaction between data relations and a significant extent.The main conclusions of this study are:Part-time job has a significant influence to the students' social network.The impact of the part-time job status and part-time job hours per week on the network size are significant.Part-time job status on network size have a positive impact,that is, part-time job students engaged in relatively large social network;a week time to part-time have a negative impact on the network size,that is,the students engaged in part-time,part-time engaged in a long time,but will reduce network scale.Part-time job on social networks does not pose a significant impact.The impact of part-time job hours per week on the extent of social networks is significant.Part-time job hours per week showed a negative impact on the close relationship.And it showed a positive impact on the stranger relationship.That is, part-time job college students in a week,part-time job college students for longer periods of time relatively high proportion of intimate relationships,a relatively low proportion of stranger relationships.Part-time job on social network for college students do not have convergence of a significant effect.
