The 400-meter run is the longest distance in the sprint event and belongs to the physical dominated speed endurance event.The performance of the 400-meter run is closely related to the absolute speed,speed endurance,aerobic ability,special technique and full running rhythm of the athlete.Functional action screening is a widely used action pattern evaluation system that is simple and extremely convenient to operate.This method tests the performance of nerves,muscles,etc.,to find out the defects in the flexibility and stability of athletes,and then corrects the defects in athletes’ physical functions by formulating scientific corrective training,so as to build the correct action pattern and reduce the probability of injury.In this paper,the literature method,expert interview method,questionnaire survey method,experimental method,mathematical statistics method and comparative analysis method were used to take 10 male students in the 2020 athletics class of Wuhan Institute of Physical Education as experimental subjects and conduct functional motor screening tests on them.Through the analysis of test results and the requirements of special training,discussion with coaches and athletes,and timely communication of the formulation and arrangement of corrective training,the 8-week corrective training was determined.Each training session is mainly composed of action preparation,nerve activation training,core training,rapid stretch compound training,regenerative training and supplementary training,and the training duration of each class is 60 min,and 2 sessions are carried out per week.After 8 weeks of corrective training,the athletes were given a second functional action screening test.In this study,functional action screening was added to 400-meter running training,hoping to find athletes’ defective action patterns with the help of functional action screening,and detect athletes’ hidden injuries during exercise,so as to effectively improve the training quality of athletes,repair athletes’ bad action patterns and improve athletes’ performance.The introduction of functional action screening in the training practice of 400-meter running can provide a certain theoretical basis for the training method of 400-meter running and the improvement of athletes’ special performance.This article has been studied and concluded as follows:1.The low score of athletes’ action mode is caused by long-term high-intensity training,so coaches need to be regularly tested and targeted training2.Athletes have poor hip and ankle flexibility,resulting in insufficient core and lower limb stability,and asymmetry on both sides of the body is very obvious.3.Corrective training designed according to the results of functional action screening can effectively improve the flexibility and stability of athletes and the control of muscles by the nervous system.4.As an effective detection tool,functional action screening has certain practical value for athletes to improve special performance and prevent injuries.
