Study On Household Consumption And Its Influencing Factors Of Floating Population In China

With the deepening of reform and opening up,China economy,after 30 years of rapid development,has now become the second largest economy in the world.In the process of economic development,the floating population has gradually become the main source of labor force in the coastal developed provinces and regions,studying the various aspects of the group has received increasing attention,household consumption situation of the floating population is one of them.In this paper,based on the relevant theories of floating population and consumption on the 2015 national population dynamic monitoring survey data,I carried on the analysis from the floating population scale,distribution,age structure and income status,analysis shows that the size of the floating population increased year by year,the trend of the floating population growth rate is "low to high";the overall trend of the floating population distribution is "the East into,the west and middle out",80% of the floating population is under the age of 44 and above 30 years old,with increasing age,female floating population will flow lower than the male population do;in the income situation,the floating population family average monthly income is higher than the level of rural households and the average monthly family income of urban residents but is lower than the average monthly family income level.The research on the current situation and characteristics of floating population family city consumption shows that the average consumption of total floating population is higher than the average monthly family out of total consumption of rural households and a month lower than that of urban households and the average monthly consumption expenditure;floating population average monthly household food expenditure is lower than the national average level of nearly 70% families living in the well-off level,nearly 20% migrant families do not bear the expenditure on housing inflow,nearly 60% of the floating population family housing expenditure under 1000 yuan RMB.Secondly,influence factors using multiple linear regression model by stepwise regression method of floating population family consumption analysis draws five conclusions,first,the floating population influence of family income on the consumption level of the most significant,the higher the income of the family consumption ability is stronger;second,the floating population family consumption showed a "inverted U" third,promote characteristics;the promotion of human capital on the floating population family consumption;fourth,institutional constraints hinder the floating population family consumption;fifth groups of highly related household demographic characteristics and household consumption level.Finally,based on the analysis of the model,four suggestions were put forward,the first is improving the floating population family income level and consumption desire;the second is continuing to deepen the reform of the household registration system and promote the urbanization process to provide protection for the floating population in the city to settle down;the third is enhancing human capital,cultivating labor force of new knowledge style;the fourth is deepening structural reform of the supply front to focus on the promotion of consumption growth for new generation of migrant families...
