| When exploring current Chinese teaching of junior grade,due to continuous innovation of new curriculum standard,quite a few regular teaching ideas have been developed and improved.However,as many defects still exist,improvement shall be continued.As children in junior grade have relatively shorter time receiving education in school,small volume of reading and insufficient quantity of word recognition,they still cannot well digest readings based on Chinese characters,which leads to their less interest and quantity in reading,and thus affecting their reading ability.Primary school students of junior grade,who receive education in school for a short period,are not equipped with excellent learning habits.Therefore,teachers shall be the best guides of students.A teacher needs to make out what learning features of students in different stages are and guide them to read in a better manner.So how to expand reading scope and improve the reading interest and reading ability of children from junior grade becomes a question requiring urgent solution.The picture book explored herein can break the above barrier and help find the teaching methods of reading courses of junior primary school students by taking advantage of picture book in teaching,which satisfies the requirement of the time.Students from primary school are in embryo of reading and learning,and they know scanty Chinese characters,so picture book becomes one of the best objects for them to read.This article aims to make a thorough inquiry in the value of such kind of readings as picture book in the education of primary school students,give a clear explanation about the strategy of cultivating the reading skills of junior students and make an attempt to apply picture book in the Chinese reading teaching of junior grades through“reading and narrating”,“imaging and guessing”,“role playing”,“image-text recreaiting”and other implementation methods,thus to improve the Chinese reading ability of junior primary school students.This article probes into the value of picture book in the teaching of primary school students,tries to apply picture book in their reading class,carries out relevant guiding and practicing means under the support of relevant ideas,and aims to bring certain positive value to the improvement of reading skills for students in such stage according to their physical and psychological growth features as well as their cognitive ability. |
