The new curriculum standard emphasizes that students are masters of learning and that teaching should be conducted in the process of equal dialogue between teachers and students.Group experiment teaching,as a method advocated and applied under the new curriculum idea,is of vital importance for the natural science based on experiment.A survey on the 2014 and 2015 grade students shows that 86.3%of them are eager to do chemical experiments,while 78.9%prefer to conduct chemical experiments in groups.Therefore,the implementation of group experimental teaching method is not only to meet the requirement of the new curriculum standard,but also to motivate students and meet their demands.During the chemical teaching education it is very necessary to carry out the group experimental teaching method to improve the overall chemical literacy of the students in the area where the number of students is small,the overall quality and the knowledge system of the students are relatively weak,and the teaching conditions are severe.At present,chemical experimental teaching is less applied in rural middle schools,especially in the poorer rural areas.Inadequate chemical experiment infrastructure investment,insufficient experimental reagent and harsh experimental conditions make the experimental teaching implementation more difficult.Although some teachers try to explore the methods of group experiment teaching,the group experiment teaching method makes minor difference in the process of pratical teaching education restricted by objective conditions.The purpose of this research is to make group experimental teaching method play a significant role.This study is divided into five parts.The first part makes a general introduction of the whole study.The background of the study both abroad and at home,the purpose and significance of the research,and the description of the new curriculum for chemistry experiment are presented in this part.The second part is the relevant theoretical basis,mainly related to the concept of group experimental teaching method and theoretical basis interpretation.The third part introduces the present situation and factors of rural middle school chemistry experimental teaching,combined with previous studies about group experimental teaching,explains the current situation of rural middle school chemistry experimental teaching,analyzes the factors that influence the development of rural middle school chemistry experimental teaching.The fourth part is the practice research of experimental teaching in rural middle school chemistry teaching.It expounds the attentions in rural middle school chemistry experiment teaching,by means of questionnaire and assessment of other forms of research on chemical experiment teaching team in rural high school.According to the statistics and analysis of data,the study demonstrates the advantage of group experimental teaching method compared with the traditional experimental teaching method.The fifth part is the conclusion,.It summarizes the results of this study,innovation and research limitations.This study is intended to effectively promote the implementation of chemistry group experimental teaching in rural middle school and contributes to the development of chemistry subject,so that the chemistry group experimental teaching can adapt to the new situations,requirements and problems.
