Chemistry is an experiment-based subject.Experimental investigation is not only the research method of chemistry,but also the research object.Meanwhile,Experimental investigation is the main part of chemistry knowledge.Chemical experiments play an irreplaceable role in chemistry teaching in middle school.Just as Mr.Dai Anbang,a famous chemist in China,stated,"Chemical experiment teaching is one of the most effective methods of developing comprehensive chemistry education." However,due to various factors,such as the attention degree of the administrative department of education,the attitudes of teachers towards chemical experiments,the daily management system of chemical laboratories,and the hardware and software facilities of schools,many rural(new streets)middle school in Wuxi fail,or even ignore the development of chemical experiments.Despite the rich teaching resources of chemistry experiment in Wuxi rural middle school,there is still a low experiment opening rate.What's the main problems in chemical experimental teaching?What demands do teachers and students have?What's the possible influence if they study or engage in chemical research in the future?Therefore,it is necessary to investigate the present situation of chemical experiment teaching in rural(new streets)middle school in Binhu District of Wuxi.This study briefly described the research background,research significance,research content,research methods,research objects as well as several related concepts and the basis of educational psychology.The study is based on a field investigation of the allocation of laboratory resources.Questionnaires are complied for students,teachers and laboratory technicians concerning the present situation of chemical experimental teaching in rural middle school in Binhu District of Wuxi.According to the investigation results,the strategies of experimental teaching were put forward from the aspects of renewing the concept,improving the scheme of experimental examination,ensuring the chemical experiment teaching course allocation,deepening of experimental management and widening the experimental path.
