Estimation has been paid more and more attention in the world,and the same is true in our country.Estimation can cultivate students' sense of number and improve mathematical thinking.The study of the estimation content is of great significance.As the carrier of knowledge,the content of textbook affects the students' learning and understanding of knowledge,so the preparation of the contents of the research materials is an important part of exploring the contents of primary school estimation.Hong Kong,a homologous similarities both in the philosophy of education,but also have their own characteristics.This paper mainly analyzes the contents of the two versions of the textbook,explores the characteristics of estimate content,finds the universal law and its own characteristics,hoping to get some inspiration,and providing some suggestions for the compilation or teaching of our primary school.This paper is divided into 6 parts to analyze.The first part compares Mathematics Curriculum Standards and Mathematics Curriculum Guidelines,in order to analyze the design concept of estimate content fundamentally.The second part is the statistical analysis textbooks' estimate content distribution,in order to study the macro layout of the estimate content of two versions of textbooks.The third part is to study the situation of estimate content,the purpose is to analyze whether the situation in the teaching material is consistent with the cognitive characteristics of students,whether it helps to stimulate students' interest.The fourth part is to study the presentation of the estimation,including the analytical process in the example and the characteristics of the questions in the exercises.The fifth part is to study the characteristics of the feature words in the estimation problem,and to analyze which forms of feature words are more rigorous and not to cause ambiguity.The sixth part examines the function of the estimate content,and aims to analyze the value orientation of the estimate content in the teaching material.By comparing the two versions of textbooks,we found that they have their own advantages and disadvantages.Finally,the author puts forward the following suggestions on PEP Edition:(1)refine the curriculum standards;(2)the layout should reflect the overall arrangement;(3)increase functional illustrations;(4)increase scientific situation;(5)increase the contrast training experience;(6)use estimation to assist learning new knowledge.
