Since 2001, with the implementation of Basic Education Curriculum Reform , in our reform process, the policy of "many editions under one stander" makes our country's math education a deep-going transformation.,so study textbooks become focal point in theory and practice math education. Internal research on American math education contains :studying for standards, the actual class local studies, lack of total and complete analyzing the American school math textbook.This study is based on international perspective of the comparative analysis, choosing common use,and developed by the university of chicago of the primary school math textbook——Everyday Mathematics, as compared with static text analysis and comparative law, content analysis, tried to explore the United States in their school math textbook in the field of knowledge and skills needed for the overall design, with a view to universal and differences in the 21st century find the mathematics curriculum reform in primary schools,mainly refer to curriculum width,curriculum depth,curriculum time and so on.The findings are:Mathematical texts reflect the primary school textbooks of mathematics own the universal laws :First, School math textbook in the field of study covers the same, including mathematics and algebra, space and graphics, a statistical probability of the three major knowledge and skills field ;Second, Valued to solve problems ;Third, Importance to study maths at school with children of reality, is subject to external comprehensive.China and American school textbooks of mathematics separately own some characteristics:First,Designing thoughts, Everyday Mathematics in organizing joint design and supported by the central joint ;PEP edition with the centre to teach in design, and with organizing joint.Second, Horizontal courses of the organization and Everyday Mathematics of and algebra :geometry : statistics and probability is 62%: 24%: 14% ;PEP edition been algebra :geometry :statistics and probability is 73%: 19%,:8%.Third,vertical courses of the curriculum organization,outcomes goals and processing goals in Everyday Mathematics are balanced;PEP edition more focus onoutcome goals.
