Class management is a comprehensive activity which head teachers,according to the establishedprinciples,adopt proper method to build a better class and constantly adjust & coordinate to achieve the same goal.Through the arrangement of related information of class management at home and abroad,and the survey and interview of the teachers & students of three schools in Y District,J City,I find out the problems of class management and its cause lying in rural primary school.After deep analysis,I propose to improve the level of class management in rural primary school which can provide reliable and direct basis for practical work of class management and improve the quality of education of primary school.This paper mainly consisted of four parts: The first part explained the reason for studying the current situation of rural primary class management,and made inductive analysis on related literature at home and abroad.On this condition,the core concept was defined and the purpose as well as approaches of the investigation of rural primary school class management were explained.The second part was a survey of class management situation in the rural primary school,including the questionnaire establishment,the reliability analysis,overall characteristics of the class management and statistics of the various dimensions.The third part was an explanation and a specific analysis of the current situation of rural primary school class management based on the questionnaire survey and the interviewing method.The basic conclusion of this study is: the class management in rural primary schools is in the upper level.Specific characteristics of the class are: the level of teaching management in the class is relatively high with attention on time management,preview and review,and attention training;the class collective has a positive and progressive atmosphere and public opinion.The head teacher has a strong sense of norms and does a good job;the education management level inside the school is higher than outside,and forms a good joint force with the teachers in the class,which fosters a harmonious relationship between students and students;The school pays more attention on carrying out class activities which are mainly about subject knowledge contests and ideological and moral behaviors.At the same time,the author discussed the problems and causes of the rural primary school class management according to the survey results and the interview contents.The problems are summarized as follows: lack of guidance on learning methods and cultivation of learning ability in the class teaching management,lack of attention on developing students’ subjectivity and self-management ability in the construction of the class organization,shortcomings in the management of educational power inside and outside the school,belittlement of literature,art and physical education in class activities management.The fourth part was based on the current situation of class management in rural primary schools that had been surveyed and interviewed and was combined with the results of class management research.Internal and external two-tier proposals of the rural primary school class management were put forward.The external proposal: Rural primary schools should Widenthe pay gap between the head teacher and the non-head teacher to eliminate the drawbacks of the same job;emancipate teachers’ mind;do a good job in stabilizing the teaching staff,and improve the evaluation system of class management.Internal recommendation: head teachers should improve their abilities and professional levels to ensure the smooth development of class management,strengthen the organization of the class,emphasize on improving students’ self-management ability,strengthen the management of class education forces to combine efforts of all forces,strengthen the teaching management with elements of nature to achieve effective teaching;strengthen the management of class activities,and make adjustments according to local conditions and time to enrich class activities.
