Research On Safety Education Of College Students In The New Period

Safety is the basic demand of individual life,and is also the basic guarantee for people's survival and development.At present,although the environment,atmosphere and public security of university and surrounding generally are good,there is undercurrent under calm and tranquil,and objective,subjective,material,human,and other unsafe problems also occur.In recent years,the news about college students “missing incident” frequently have been seen in the media.So many occurrence of security incidents,not only brought great grief for family,school and society,but also reflected the lack of safety education in China's higher education system.Education is the foundation of one country.Education is related to the rise and fall of the Chinese nation and the success or failure of the socialist career.In the education system,safety education,especially the safety education of college students,plays a very important position and role,and should be paied high attention.On the basis of previous studies,this paper explored the safety education of contemporary college students.Based on the theory of college students' safety education,this paper selected many college students in some universities in Shanxi province as the investigation objects,and investigated the students' safety awareness,safety knowledge and skills,safety education and so on by adopting questionnaire survey and interviewing method.Then this paper summarized the basic measures of college students' safety education currently,and commented on the achievements and problems of college students' safety education,and analyzed the causes of the problems from the aspects of University,society,family and college students themselves.Safety education of college students is an important part of the ideological and political education system,and needs to achieve “all-members involved education".Therefore,this paper put forward the countermeasures of college students' safety education in the new period,such as strengthening the construction of the main position of safety education in colleges anduniversities,exerting social security education function,paying attention to the function of family safety education,and improving the students themselves safety.Meanwhile,it is also necessary to ensure the security of college students' safety education,including the improvement of the safety education management system,the establishment of security system,and the introduction of safety education assessment.
