As a key element of national security,ideological security is closely related to the development of a country and the stability of society.As the hope of national development,college students’ mainstream ideological security is related to the long-term stability of the party and the country.As an important part of college students,science and engineering students are very important to maintain the national ideological security.Today,with the sharp ideological struggle in the world,how to combine the main contents and characteristics of ideological safety education of science and engineering college students to do a good job in ideological safety education is an important issue that we urgently need to explore and solve in the new era.This paper takes the ideological safety education of science and engineering students as the research content,and carries out empirical investigation in the form of questionnaire.It is found that the ideological safety education effect of science and engineering students is generally good,and the education activities are carried out smoothly.Most of science and engineering students can understand the importance of ideological safety consciousness in ideology correctly,and actively maintain it in action Protect ideological security.However,in the process of empirical investigation,it is found that there are still some problems in education,which are mainly manifested in the low participation of some science and engineering students in ideological safety education activities,the weak theoretical basis of Marxism of some science and engineering students,the low combination of ideological form safety education and professional practice of science and engineering students,and the network ideology There are four aspects of the poor matching between the construction of safety education and the effect.In view of these problems,combined with the characteristics of science and engineering college students,this paper explores the causes of the problems from different perspectives,and finds that some science and engineering college students have biased self-development cognition,colleges and universities do not pay enough attention to the combination of ideological security education and professional practice,and the network awareness of the form of security education system is not perfect.In the face of the pressure and challenge in ideological safety education of science and engineering college students,this paper combines the causes of the problems and the actual situation of science and engineering college students,from strengthening the Marxist theory education of science and engineering college students,strengthening the practical education mode of ideological safety education of science and Engineering college students,and promoting ideological safety education of science and engineering college students Three aspects of network new media construction put forward targeted optimization measures to promote the practical effect of ideological security education of science and engineering students.
