Cultural Life is one of the four compulsory modules of high school political course.It is the highlights of the new curriculum reform.It is not only an important aspect of focusing on students' moral development and embodiment of humanistic education,but shows off the basic idea of "people-oriented" in new teaching course.Curriculum resources are the necessity of curriculum implementation.However,single teaching materials can not meet the need of teaching in Cultural Life.Meanwhile,rich resources of native culture play an important role in high school political course.They are even the important resources in Cultural Life.Chengdu is a famous cultural city with a long history.It has very rich historical and cultural resources.We should try our best to use these cultural resources reasonably in teaching Cultural Life,which can make our classes infectious and friendly.They will help shorten the distance between teaching and students' real life.They can also benefit on improving our effective teaching and appeal to the students' awareness of protection and inheritance of Chengdu local cultural resources.As far as I know,a lot of teachers have already used these materials in their teaching.Unfortunately,it is disappointing.The reasons may as follows.At first,we lack of the awareness of using the cultural resources.Second,our researchers are so formalized that we don't choose the materials seriously.Therefore,we can not make full use of our rich cultural resources.During my study,I just made a list of some concepts to analyze Chengdu local cultural resources,and summed up some practical use of materials in our text book.I did a large number of questionnaires and face-to-face talking in order to find out our mistakes in teaching.Finally,I got the solutions to the problems.Empirical analysis,case analysis,and the methods of theoretical analysis were used in my research to find out some useful strategies in teaching Cultural Life.
