| With the development of society,the life style and the concept value of people are gradually changing,with sports,health and entertainment of mind and body gaining increasing importance.Under the present educational system of China,Physical Education,as an important element of talent cultivation and quality education,is still the main form to develop students’ physique.Thus,the rationality of the curriculum provision in college Physical Education is directly related to the physical condition of students,the students’ fondness of Physical Education class and their development of physical exercise habit after class.In order to achieve the above mentioned purposes,the mode and content of college Physical Education needs to be taken from more perspectives,such as the attachment of importance from skills to physical and mental health and social adjustment,not only restricted to traditional mode of Physical Education Curriculum.According to the characteristics of college students’ physical and mental development,the new curriculum reform calls on that colleges should set some school-based curriculums of Physical Education with their own features.The development of school-based curriculums,which is also an important content of curriculum reform in China,can not only help colleges complete the Physical Education tasks in a better way,but also promote the development college special education and form their own characteristics.This paper,based on the implementation of school-based curriculum in Hebei Vocational College of Foreign Languages and large amount of referential materials,conducted a study of the development of the mentioned curriculum in this college through questionnaires,interviews,mathematical statistics,logical analysis etc.,providing an example for the further implementation of school-based Physical Education in Hebei Vocational College of Foreign Languages.This paper drew conclusion in four aspects through investigation on implementation status quo of the school-based Physical Education in Hebei Vocational College of Foreign Languages.First,the school-based Physical Education in Hebei Vocational College of Foreign Languages has abundant resources,such as human resources.Teachers of Physical Education in this college are mainly young or middle-aged teachers with good educational background,solid Physical Education skills,unswerving confidence and abundant teaching experience.Meanwhile,with a good understanding of the laws and regulations of school-based curriculum and the condition and ability to start relevant teaching,they support the idea to set up school-based Physical Education,but need improvement in aspects such as innovation,comprehensiveness and adaptability.In addition,the equipment resources in Hebei Vocational College of Foreign Languages can meet the needs to start school-based Physical Education.Second,the organization and management of school-based Physical Education in Hebei Vocational College of Foreign Languages are more complete.The college has established a team to develop and manage the curriculum and receive related school-based curriculum training regularly with a clear division of work,thus bringing benefits to the development of school-based Physical Education in the college.Third,students in Hebei Vocational College of Foreign Languages are more satisfied with the school-based Physical Education,giving their support and positive remarks in teaching contents,arrangement of curriculum and semester schedule.Last,the school-based Physical Education in Hebei Vocational College of Foreign Languages lack sports events with local features,even though the traditional college events,especially ball games are favored by students.So the college should set up school-based curriculum with its own features according to teacher resources,field characteristics and students conditions.In conclusion,the implementation of the school-based Physical Education in Hebei Vocational College of Foreign Languages is relatively successful,which is beneficial to the development of students,teachers and the college,forming a special feature of the college. |
