Personality is a stable thinking and behavior pattern,not only rooting in individual life practice,but also concentrated reflecting the purposes and practical effect of education.How to lead people to develop personality traits that meet the requirements of social development is an extremely important issue that our education work must always be concerned.In terms of ideological and political education,all of our work is transforming social political values of a certain historical period into inner spiritual demands and external behavioral norms of the generation of youth,and leading them develop and temper a stable thinking and behavior pattern which meets the requirements of social development that is the political personality.However,in contemporary China,the political personality of college students is increasingly profoundly influenced by the open environment,the market economy,the information society and the multiculturalism,and highlights the distinctive intergenerational characteristics.In addition,the unique position and function of political personality in college students’ personality system profoundly influence and restrict college students’ ideological quality,value choice and behavior orientation in turn.At this time,how to accurately grasp the specific characteristics and behavioral tendencies of college students’ political personality,and scientifically guide them to establish the correct outlook on life and realize the organic unity of ideal political personality and individual comprehensive development.How to systematically summarize the overall situation and development trend of the current college students’ political personality,but also accelerate promote the relevance and effectiveness of political personality education,achieve coordination and coherence of the harmony campus environment and social political stability and so on.These questions are summed up as follows: In contemporary China,how to accurately grasp the status quo and characteristics of college students’ political personality,and strengthen the college students’ ideal political personality cultivation effectively?Around this issue,the paper use the methods of literature research and quantitative analysis to clarify the conceptual and structural elements of personality,political personality and college students’ political personality.It focuses on the triple connotation and constituent elements of contemporary college students’ political personality,and uses empirical research to analyze the performance characteristics and outstanding problems of contemporary college students’ political personality,and analyzes the main factors influencing the political personality of contemporary college students,and puts forward the corresponding cultivation strategies to shape the ideal political personality of college students.Finally,in addition to the introduction and conclusion,there are four chapters:Chapter
