| In recent years,Sino-Japanese relations have been in constant conflicts.Chinese people especially the young students cannot take a rational look at such relations, let alone express patriotism rationally. Therefore,it becomes urgent for history teachers in senior high school to lead students to establish correct outlooks on life and values and meanwhile strengthen their civic awareness and cultural quality.Since history of Japan accounts for some percent of history of the world in high school history textbooks,it is necessary for history teachers to study on the constituent and lecture to students. This thesis tries to help students and teachers get a more objective insight into Japan by virtue of an analysis of history of Japan in high school history textbooks published by the people’s education press in 2007.It consists of four parts. The first part starts with the specific requirements on compulsory course and optional course under the historical curriculum standard. As is known, curriculum standard is the basis of textbook compilation and also serves as the foundation for teaching assessment. What’s more,it directs teachers to implement effective teachings. In the second part, the distribution of Japanese history in the textbooks is analyzed from compulsory course and optional course respectively. It summarizes the characteristics of the distribution and provides some references and suggestions for future history textbooks compilation. The third part compares different aspects of Japanese history in the textbooks with other histories of Japan, namely,Japanese nation’s history, history of Japan in Sino-Japanese relations and history of Japan in international relations.Hence,we can have a better knowledge of Japan and treat it objectively and rationally. The last part mainly discusses how to teach history of Japan in textbooks edited by PEP.Examples of teaching design cases, problems to be paid attention to and the lately academic trends have been explored, aiming at enhancing myself as a preservice history teacher. |
