A Study On The Factors Affecting Of College Students’ Entrepreneurial Intention

In recent years,the way of employment and employment structure has changed dramatically in China,self-employment has become an important channel for college students’ employment.college students’ entrepreneurship is not only beneficial to the realization of personal value,but also to the development of social economy in our country.Entrepreneurial intention is the subjective attitude of potential entrepreneur to engage in entrepreneurial activity,which is the starting point for the study of entrepreneurial behavior as well as the best predictor.At present,the entrepreneurial intention study has become the focus of global entrepreneurship research,and for college students,as one of the most innovative and entrepreneurial potential groups,the research which aims to strengthen their entrepreneurial intention has become an imminent task.This article explores the influencing factors of college students’ en terpreneurial intention by studying the relevant literatures at home and abroad and summarizing the research achievements of predecessors,and puts forward four factors which affect the entrepreneurial intention of college students.Namely the personality traits of college students,the traditional characteristics,family background and the social environment.Index designs are also made for those four factors and entrepreneurial intentions.In this study,the data were obtained by a combination of interview and questionnaire survey and then analysed by SPSS and other software to complete the hypotheses test.Finally,the following conclusions are drawn from this study:(1)achievement motivation,risk preference,creativity and tenacity.These four personality traits are positively correlated with the entrepreneurial intention of college students,and students will have higher entrepreneurial intention with those traits.(2)Traditional characteristics,Gender,major and grade of study have a significant impact on the entrepreneurial intention of college students.Male ’s entrepreneurial intentions are higher than females;the entrepreneurial intentions of subjects who are differ in majors are also different.the different grades of the study subjects also have a significant impact on their entrepreneurial intentions.But the type of college has little effect on entrepreneurial intentions.(3)the family background,the main investigation and analysis have achieved including the household registration status,father’s occupation and family income of the research subjects.In which the difference between the father’s occupation and the family’s annual income will have an impact on the entrepreneurial intention of the research subjects;But the difference in household registration status has little effect.(4)The social environment,The entrepreneurial experience of relatives and friends,the guidance of entrepreneurship education and the national policy tendencies have a significant impact on the entrepreneurial intention of college students.According to the results of this study,this paper which aims to improve the current situation of college students ’entrepreneurship by improving their own quality,strengthening the college entrepreneurship education and guidance,exerting the function of Human Resources and optimizing the external environment of government entrepreneurship.
