During the“National People's Congress and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference”in2017,Chen Baosheng,Minister of Education,pointed out“Double World-classes”development in the press conference.To develop“Double World-classes”universities,not only the c onstruction of both top universities and first-class subjects is needed,but also the importance of outstanding teachers should be realized.The 13th Five-Year plan puts forward that universities need to improve the education quality,to enhance the teaching level and to increase the creative ability.The key to achieve these goals is to build a faculty team that is with great moral and professional skills,and is well-equipped and dynamic.As an integral part of the teaching faculty of Physical Education Department,gymnastic teachers should fully understand the current state of their self-developments.This dissertation studies the self-development of g ymnastic teachers of Ph ysical Education Department in universities and colleges in Henan Province,focusing on the self-cognition,the self-action and the self-fulfillment of gymnastic teachers.With the application of literature review,investigation,teaching methods and logical methods,the following research results were found:1.There are 15 physical Institutes have gymnastic class in Henan province,a total number of 4 6teachers.Less lesson hours,Lack of equipment and playground;Gymnastics teacher male and female ratio is not balanced,Age is mainly concentrated in the 36-45 years old,There are 73.53%of the gymnastics teachers have the promotion of the title space,gymnastics teacher foreign language level is relatively low.2.Gymnastic teachers have a clear cognition of their current status,which includes the health condition,the role,the professional ability and other related aspects.3.Gymnastics teachers to achieve their own development to take the main action,In the process of self-development of life development and career development have made the appropriate planning and specific implementation of the action;In teaching and research to show the res ults of insufficient,in the actual action is not better,Most of the self-learning and further studies show willingness to participate and take positive action at the same time,;Other skills have to master the other sports skills,according to their own circumstances to varying degrees of practice.4.The aim of cognition and implementation is to realize the own value,which is reflected in the achievement in teaching,researching and working.However,gymnastic teachers don't have accurate understanding of what they need to achieve.5.Comprehensive and balanced development of physical fitness;Easy entry to other sports;Perennial to maintain competitive ability;Rigorous,strong sense of rules;Strong sense of security,psychological tolerance and compression capacity is r elatively large;The sense of honor is d ifferent in form.In the process of self-development by the following factors,Gymnastics classes continue to shrink,so that teachers lack the external development momentum;Stress fro m work;The phenomenon of loss In gymnastics teachers;Job title is highly competitive.The following suggestions are put forward based on the analysis of the research findings:1.Colleges can pay more attention to the development of gymnastic teachers.It is essential to offer them targeted training and reeducation as this will guarantee the effects and qualities.2.Gymnastics teachers in Physical education departments in Henan Province should deepen their understandings of teaching reform and renew their teaching concepts.On the basis of traditional teaching methods,gymnastic teachers should also apply the latest teaching methods and means to e nsure a ful l development of both teachers and students.Gymnastic teachers are also encouraged to take part in various academic activities to improve their academic abilities and to increase the quality of academic research.3.Gymnastics teachers in Physical education departments in H enan Province are aske d to have introspection and self-evaluations of their development status and to accept evaluations from others.This helps them to have better understandings of themselves and to better position themselves.4.To consolidate the inner motivation of gymnastic teachers through establishing the system of rewards and penalties.It is also important to care the teachers and to improve teachers'abilities to act through the combination of the inner self-development and the external innovation.5.The college management department in Henan Province should value gymnastic courses and update educational ideas and theories.It is also advised to decrease non-gymnastic courses for gymnastic teachers,to increase the frequency of gym competitions and build the multi-layered competition system.This helps teachers make better use of their judging abilities and organizational skills,and give them feel a sense of achievement.
