In recent years,the reform of curriculum in South Korea turns out a special phenomenon.Since the General Guideline of '2007 Reformed National Curriculum' published in 2007,'2009 Reformed National Curriculum' was put on the satge in two years.Those new texting books,which were compiled under the gudience of 2009 Reformed National Curriculum,were initially presented to the students of '5-6 grade cluster' in 2015.Meanwhile the Park Geun-hye government announced to start a new curriculum called '2015 Reformed National Curriculum'.After that,National Curriculum was not named as 'which times of the curriculum' but 'which years of the curriculum'.The shortening of the period and the change of the name has shown the urgent need of curriculum reform in S.K.It is significant for China to research 'what kind of konwledge' and 'why such kind of knowledge' were chosen in S.K,for the reality and the ideology of culture selection of Korean language curriculum will have an important effect on theoretical guidance and practice appliance.Taking the Korean language curriculum of S.K elementary school as an example,I used the national unified Korean textbooks as the research object,which concluded 24 books from 1-6 grade.Using the methods of literature review,literature analysis and speculative research,I made a systematic study on the subject.First of all,I did literature review for the cultural studies of curriculum and grasped the research trends and shortcomings of it.Secondly,after carrying out a diachronic exploration about the Korean language curriculum of S.K elementary school,I grasped the evolution process of it.Meanwhile,I studied how information culture,behavior culture and achievement culture constituted the textbook content in the view of cultural structure,while I also studied the content of textbook is from which cultural background.Finally,on the basis of the previous three steps,I analyzed how the social,academic,and student factors make an effort on the cultural selection of Korean language curriculum,in order to form a systematic understanding of it.The results of this study are summarized as follows:1.The Korean language textbooks of the Korean elementary school attached importance to the behavior of the culture and chose the actual content,and emphasized the practical education which is aim at helping students effectively carry out their own lives.2.Focusing on students,it emphasized the cultivation of students'human nature and chose the relevant content of the behavior culture under the guidance of the "open" outlook on textbooks.3.The Korean curriculum paid attention to the basic grammar knowledge and set up a wealth of language knowledge in the lower grades of elementary school.4.Literature,arts,music,film and television works as the four elements of the achievements of culture reflected the needs of creative talent and social gap between rich and poor.5.Under the guidance of student-centered theory,it set up the focus achievement standards and sustained achievement standards to ensure the integrity of the teaching content,which showed a spiral of knowledge structure system.6.Korean language textbooks in elementary schools have the tendency to be pro-american,which reflects the national ontological education and the global green-growth education in multicultural context.Through the analysis and discussion,four suggestions are drawn:Firstly,it is necessary to advocate the students-centered National language education and attach importance to the cultivation of students'practical ability.Secondly,it is important to keep pace with the times and actively respond to the needs of social development.Thirdly,the knowledge structure of textbooks should be coordinated with the law of students' psychological development.Fourthly,the content selection of the textbook should pay attention to the cultural elements.
