Composition teaching has always been the focus and the difficulty of Chinese education in junior middle school.With the promotion of quality education and the reformation of curriculum,the concept of composition teaching has experienced great changes.The study of composition teaching has also gradually gotten rid of the traditional teaching mode,and formed a resourceful and brand-new teaching mode adapting to the social development,which has added new vitality for composition teaching in junior middle school Chinese writing.However,even though the new pattern and strategy have made progresses in teaching practice,they still fail to solve the problem of "stereotyped writing" and "writing difficulties"fundamentally.Confronting current educational environment,the very key problems that every educator needs to explore and solve are how to break through the difficulties of teaching writing and teach writing ?effectively and efficiently,and ultimately improve students' writing ability.No.6 Middle School of Yanji City is a Han's junior middle school that enjoys a rather high level of teaching in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture.In this paper,17 teachers and 320 students from this schoolare set as the research object.And through questionnaire research,interviewing,literature review,data statistics analysis this paper will present the status quo of composition teaching in No.6 Middle School of Yanji City,and as well as discovering the achievements and problems,and then analyze the the influence factors of composition teaching,finally put forward suggestions corresponding to the problems discussed.This thesis consists of four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part which introduces the basic content of this paper as a whole and explains the background of the current research status,purpose and significance of the research topic,and the research scope and methods.The second chapter explains the main theoretical basis for the study of Chinese composition teaching in junior midddle school including the curriculum standard of Chinese compulsory education and modern writing teaching theory.The third chapter focuses on the status quo of the composition teaching in No.6 Middle School of Yanji City.The first section in this chapter shows the background of the research object including the teaching and learning situation in the school;the second section discusses the achievements the present teaching has achieved which are mainly reflected in the cultivation of students' interest in reading,the accumulation of reading material,the well use of modern educational technology and the rich variety of evaluation methods;the third section analyzes the problems existing in teaching,namely,the weakness in the study of composition teaching,the disproportion between training quantity and writing quality,the neglect of students' daily practice,the ineffectiveness of the evaluation results and etc.;and briefly analyzes the causes of these problems;the fourth section illustrates the students' problem in learning writing which are the shortage of material accumulation,rigid thinking,the lack of innovation,the lack of communication,and the loss of writing modification procedure;and concisely discusses the causes.The fourth chapter puts forward several suggestions to improve the teaching efficiency and solve the mentioned problems in the composition teaching in No.6 Middle School of Yanji City:from the aspect of teaching,teachers should enhance the study of composition teaching,balance the relationship between training quantity and writing quality,guide students to observe life,and strengthen the evaluation process of students' writing;as for the aspect of learning,students should expand the vision of life,pay attention to life experience,strengthen subject-consciousness,cultivate thinking ability,enhance the consciousness of combining speaking with writing and encouraging writing with speaking,cultivate modifying habits,and overcome laziness.In the end of the thesis,the author concludes all the conclusions and summarizes the whole text.
