5 To7 Years Old A Comparative Study Of Urban And Rural Children’s Paintings

Painting as a special language for children, is a way of expressing our inner world and life experiences of the children. For children with the same age, their drawings will show different characteristics due to the different geographical, environmental, lifestyle, or the educational differences. While a great deal of famous professors at home and abroad do some researches for developing characteristics of chirdren’s painting,the related research of the same children is inefficient for the geographical differences caused by painting characteristics.Therefore,the author studied painting of children at the age of 5-7 years old and have a comparison in urban and rural.Through the analysis of a large number of children’s art works, the author discovered that there are some similarity for the children’s painting at the age of 5-7 years old. but there are also many differences. The same point is demonstrated in: shape and image development of painting shape characteristics, composition, and the number of images used in the relationship between the image on the visual perception of color, colors, and so on. Instead, there are also some differences that the screen is different from the characters, events, places, to the color preferences are not the same.There are three reasons that is children’s psychological development, living environment and arts education for the similarities and differences between urban and rural areas of characteristics of children’s drawing. The written put forward some educational suggestions for reasons caused by the similarities and differences between urban and rural areas.we should respect the law of children’s mental development and make full use of educational resources, and bring into play their respective advantages, increase investment in rural education, and strength the construction of rural teachers.
